The Map shows the expanse of Super Animal World and continues to evolve across game versions. The default keyboard key to open the map is M, and the default controller button is 
. In the Map screen, players can set a waypoint by using 
or 
and the button listed as 'Mark Map'. These waypoints could indicate a point of interest or where to drop or move to, though a player can only mark one location on the map at a time.
