The Dogna's Dart Gun (formerly Poison Dart Gun) is a mid-range weapon that applies poison (a damage over time effect) to enemy Super Animals and Emu idle 000 Giant Emus, or a healing effect to allied Super Animals.

Dogna's Dart Gun is a good choice for killing enemies without harming their Icon Armor  Armor (which can then be picked up). Using Dogna's Dart Gun requires decent timing and forward thinking as its slow rate of fire leaves you vulnerable to enemy attacks. It is advised that once a hit is landed on the enemy, pursue them at a distance as they will likely flee to heal: pursing them immediately could result in a fight or flight reaction, possibly resulting in them switching to a close-range weapon and retaliating aggressively. Keep in mind that poison damage does not last long, though the timed effect of the damage is cumulative with each successive dart hit. With the brand new healing capability, this gun becomes a useful weapon for players wanting to play a support role as darts heal injured allies as well as healing them slightly while they are downed allowing for a slightly longer revive window to finish off any enemy teams in the surrounding area for a more secure revive. It also effective for healing Emu idle 000 Giant Emu as long as unmounted or the player's teammate is the one who riding it otherwise it will damaging the Emu instead if the enemy is the one who riding it.

Damage over time numbers can be seen if the affected animal is within line of sight.

When an allied Super Animal is hit by a dart from Dogna's Dart Gun and their Health Points are not full, they will receive a healing effect that heals 24 Health Points over 2 seconds. If an allied Super Animal is fully healed and is in the path of a dart, the dart will pass through them. If multiple darts hit allied Super Animal, the healing effect will stack up to 12 ticks. Currently, it is the only gun in the game that does not set off Barrel-explosive Explosive Barrels.

Healing effect against allied downed Super Animals is only 50% effective which matches the reduced damage they take. 50% healing efficiency also applies to Super Animals in a Skunk bombUI Skunk Bomb's gas.

The first tick of the DOT effect of the poison takes place 0.6 seconds after the dart hits an opponent.

  • Direct damage dealt to emus counts towards the 'Dogna's dart gun damage' challenge, but not damage from the poison. Healing the Emus also counts towards the 'Dogna's dart gun heal' challenge.
  • The weapon is attributed to CharacterIcon Dr Jennifer Dogna Dr. Jennifer Dogna.
  • The ability of the Dogna's Dart Gun to both heal teammates and poison enemies is explained by the weapon having two modes of fire: the red chamber is poison and the green chamber is Healthjuice level 3 Health Juice as seen above the trigger.
